Crosscut Tree Climbers was founded by David Armstrong, an adventure-loving, thrill-seeking, family man who has had a passion for climbing trees since his early childhood days. He started testing his climbing limits early on which resulted in numerous trips to the ER for stitches and/or broken bones - all before the age of five. It wasn't until his adult years, however, that he discovered he could make a living climbing trees (if he could ever do it safely). After working for Arkansas State Parks for over a decade learning and sharpening his skills with a chainsaw as as a certified sawyer, he had become a lethal tree feller, garnering him the nickname, "The Tree Guy".  By that time, the thrill of simply cutting trees from the ground had started to wane, so he decided to branch out and up into the canopy, combining his love for climbing and his prowess with a chainsaw. The rest is history. Today, the goal is simple: bring professional-grade tree care to homeowners without the big-company runaround or insane prices, and have fun while we do it.
